“Drawing is at the the heart of my practice - exploring the uncertain relationship between hand and eye, and the simple yet limitless possibilities of shape, tone, colour, texture and line. I seek to offer a slight shift in perception, and to explore that quiet alchemy between art and audience.”
‘In Plain Sight’
A series of landscapes and exploratory works created during lockdown. These represent a year when our human experience changed beyond recognition while the physical world carried on as before. They capture sounds and movements, shapes and motifs, a moss covered rock, paths scored into valley walls - they are an expression of an essence, sometimes apparent and sometimes hidden in plain sight.
